Why we won’t forget these ladies for what they did in 2016

It has been a wonderful year for our female celebrities in all genres therefore I have taken my time to list them and appreciate their hard work. On the other hand, I continue to cross my fingers and hope that 2017 will be a greater year for them.
Jacqueline- Now if you lifestyle lies on furniture on various unique designs, I bet Jacqueline Mengi has captured your attention with Amorette which is designed by her and made in Tanzania. In addition to that, in memory of her late father Dr. Ntuyabuliwe she started the foundation to promote children reading skills.
Nancy- Her ambition to make positive change in Tanzania has yearly been shown by her Neghesti Sumari foundation. This year they hosted the international woman’s day congress that gave an energetic response with participants.
Millen – With 13 surgeries, Millen Magese isn’t ready to give it up yet. She has been struggling with Endometriosis in most of her life but she can still put a beautiful smile on her face and keep on loving life. Millen has become one of the most important advocates for the condition that affects million of women in the world.
Flaviana-  If I were you, i would add lavy nail polish to the budget list this festive season. It has been a struggle for her to get it to the market. Once it was accepted, stores were flocking as ladies were dying to purchase her polish.
Herieth – Herieth Paul is the runway Tanzanian princess who has made it big in the international fashion industry. This year, she was named Maybelline New York Brand Ambassador and joined supermodels Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Irina Shayk on the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Paris.
Faraja – Through Shule Direct, Faraja Nyalandu has simplified the availability of school notices for students through computers and mobiles phones. She has been working very hard to improve the education systems in Tanzanian schools. This year, Faraja was appointed to serve on the Global Future Council for Education, Gender and Work by the World Economic Forum.
Aika- Being in a big duo group with Nahreel, this has been the best time in her career life. First the few changes she made in the industry by signing in new artists who have captured the eyes of the media. She did not stop there but AIM album has summed it up for this year. By the way, do get your copy!
Vanessa-  For cash madame we never see it coming, do we?. Having to work hard and play hard is her job. Coming up with Money Diaries that encourages us to go what we love has taken the spotlight. You can hear her voice in major collaborations with her boo Jux, Mwana FA, Ice Prince Zamani, Dj Maphorisa among others. She also co-written Mafikizolo’s new single ‘Kucheza’ and also secured her first role at the MTV shuga. Vee Money what’s more to come?
Jokate- Jojo does not disturb. It’s always been business for her. Her Kidoti bag businesses has been booming and trust me, having those bags has to be in your list for presents this season.
Ruby – She had begun this year by offering opportunities to various directors to share a variety of shooting her song ‘forever’. However, Ruby has been the celebrity we least expected to see at the Coke Studio this year. Her collaborations have been very encouraging so far.
